The Monitoring Units LED displays are very faint and the re-chargeable battery packs that came with the kit have long expired. The units are still effective and still work if they remain in the charging stations.

The monitoring unit is excellent and the illumination feature is still working - the sensitivity adjustment work awesome if you have a very delicate sleeper or a rambunctious baby. Having 2 monitoring pads are best if you have a child that rolls since it will cover the entire crib sleeping area.
