Brand new in retail package (complete package) + extras. I ended up with 2 of these and selling one, leaving one for myself. Evaluated both Canon and Sony and decided on this one.
Pocket size. Takes excellent quality pictures. 12 megapixel which is ideal for 1/1.7" sensor. 1080p video with stereo sound @30 and 60 fps. Movie format is mp4, and I found that most video softwares easily understand these clips, unlike Canon S100 S120 line or Sony RX-100 line with which I had difficulty processing video.
Built-in GPS. Wifi with adapter. Easily fits in a pocket. Raw + jpeg formats. Full manual controls for experienced photographers. Wide angle and fast lens 24-120mm f/1.8. 921,000 dots on 3" LCD. Excellent image stabilization, on par with Canon, much better than that of Sony RX-100. Too many features to list. Beats Canon S110 and S120 on features and value.

Extras included that I purchased separately: 16GB Kingston ultimate sdhc card, extra battery (2 batteries in total), screen protector (installed), external charger (plus charger for in-camera charging that Nikon supplies), car charge adapter, multiflash reader/usb flash converter, mini hdmi adapter to use normal hdmi cable for connecting camera to lcd tv.
